Ranbir-Kat's Jagga Jasoos gets a release date; to clash with Chef and Haseena
The Anurag Basu directorial has been in the making for over four years and was slated to release on April 7.
Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif's long awaited 'Jagga Jasoos' may have been on the backburner for the longest time, but it seems to have finally found its elusive release date.
The Anurag Basu musical was slated to release on April 07 earlier.
However, a couple of re-shoots later, the film seems to be all set to release on July 14.
Katrina Kaif took to her Instagram account to confirm this news.
She posted the new poster of the film and wrote, "It's official ... new release date July 14th! 2 days before my birthday, sorry had to get that in."
The couple seen on the log raft in the new poster gives an entire feel of it being an adventurous Disney film.
'Jagga Jasoos,' a light-hearted spy saga, has been in the making since nearly 2014. The film had run into a lot many controversies, due to its innumerable delays and its famed A-list leads who had an infamous separation, which in turn affected the shoot as well.
We sincerely hope the film doesn't face any more roadblocks.
