Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who is set to play a dark and intriguing role in the much-anticipated film Spirit, chose to keep details about his character under wraps. Speaking at the International Film Festival of India, he simply said, “Picture abhi baaki hai” (the film is still in the making), hinting that more will be revealed in due course.
Oberoi shared that he is putting in a lot of effort with discipline and commitment. “The rest is with God,” he added, expressing confidence in the project while maintaining humility.
Talking about his approach to films, Oberoi emphasized that he now works purely out of passion. “If I get a good script and role, I enjoy doing it. I no longer feel pressure and am just focusing on my work with passion,” he noted.
The actor is no stranger to intense and negative roles in South Indian cinema. He portrayed a factionist in Raktha Charitra, a character inspired by Paritala Ravi, and later played the antagonist opposite Ram Charan in Vinaya Vidheya Rama. After a brief gap, he is now set to face off against Prabhas in Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga. The initial look unveiled by the director has already generated significant buzz around the film and Oberoi’s role.
