Rekha sees danger
When asked to pose near a picture of Amitabh Bachchan, the actress joked that it is the ‘danger zone’.
Tales of Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan’s romance have been a part of Bollywood folklore, and the actress has a superb sense of humour when it comes to handling such things. She also has a great rapport with the cameramen, which she showed off at the calendar launch of ace photographer Dabboo Ratnani, who has shot her a lot in the recent past.
Before the veteran actress ascended the stage for a photo opportunity, she spotted a picture of Big B nearby. “As she was sashaying across the stage along with Dabboo’s daughter Kiara, photographers asked her to stop near Bachchan’s pictures and look up to see the picture. Well, she was already wearing shades and no one could see what she had seen and smartly eluded the paparazzi’s moment of glory by saying, ‘Wahan danger zone hai!’ (There is a danger zone there) and everyone burst into laughter,” says our man at the spot.
However, Rekha did stop there once to ensure that the paps got almost what they wanted.
