In pursuit of Khushi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor may have had a debut release in the form of Dhadak, a second film Kargil Girl under production and a third film Takht, which will go on the floors soon but now, it seems that her little sister Khushi Kapoor has also started meeting up directors, hoping to make her debut soon.

Last year, Khushi was on Neha Dhupia’s show and she replied to a query from Neha about her Bollywood debut this way. “People tell me when I’m going to debut, so it’s fun to hear about it. I mean, I’m still in school so obviously, it’s something that I have thought of but it’s not something that is happening right now,” she had said.

But it is over a year now and we spotted the actress outside Rajkumar Santoshi’s place on Thursday. Santoshi had directed Pukar for her father and producer Boney Kapoor in 2000. Hence, her visit to meet Santoshi at a time when he is making his next film with newcomers — Mithun Chakraborty’s son Namashi and Amrin Qureshi — raised a few eyebrows. “She came out after the meeting and seemed surprised to see the paparazzi there. She quickly sat in her car and sped off,” says an eye witness.
