After saying ‘no’ and ‘I don’t know’ a few times, Kareena Kapoor Khan has finally said yes to adman Mahesh Mathai’s biopic Salute, based on astronaut Rakesh Sharma. The film stars Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
Earlier, Priyanka Chopra was penciled as the heroine when Aamir Khan was the lead hero. But after Aamir moved out and SRK made his way in, Priyanka too was out.

Not only this, the Ki & Ka actress has also agreed to do Raj Mehta’s film for Karan Johar as reported earlier. “Akshay Kumar has been roped in for the film opposite her and it is an entertainer. So Kareena has two films in hand after the successful opening of Veere Di Wedding,” said a source.
