Watch: Ranbir Kapoor croons 'Channa Mereya' and wins audience's hearts

Mumbai: Ranbir Kapoor is an effortless charmer and this is no new trivia.

The much adored actor, who'll next be seen in Karan Johar's ambitious 'Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,' alongside Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma has been promoting the film all guns blazing.

At a recent event, upon being prompted, the actor crooned the recent hit, 'Channa Mereya,' from the Pritam musical, much to the hysteria of the audience.

The actor, who'plays a musician in the film, is no novice when it comes to being a performer, having portrayed a brooding rockstar with much aplomb in Imtiaz Ali's cult 'Rockstar'.

The actor, however, was quite cheerful while singing this number, albeit only a few lines of it.

He didn't even resist the urge to perform his trademark step from the song.

We can't blame the girls onstage for being unable to contain themselves when this charmer is at it.
