A quiet birthday for Dilip Kumar after being diagnosed mild pneumonia?

Veteran actor Dilip Kumar, who has been diagnosed with mild pneumonia, will have a very quiet birthday celebration this year. The actor turns 95 on December 11, and a source close to Dilip reveals there will be no big celebration this year.

Udaya Tara Nayar, a close friend to Dilip and Saira Banu, who also wrote his biography, said, “Dilip is being treated at home. He is doing fine, but due to such unexpected events, we haven’t planned anything about his birthday as of now.”

A source close to the actor reveals that they may indeed have a muted celebration this year. “It will be purely a family affair. His health has been a major concern and due to on and off health issues, the family just wants to be together on this birthday.” Earlier this year, Dilip was hospitalised because of a kidney-related ailment.
