Arjun Rampal Registers Marriage With Gabriella Demetriades in Goa

Panaji: Bollywood actor Arjun Rampal on Friday registered his marriage with girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades in Goa. The couple completed the formalities at the Sub-Registar's office at Mapusa in North Goa district in the presence of their close friends.

The marriage was registered under the state's Uniform Civil Code, Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar told PTI.

Demetriades is a South African national. The couple is currently living in Succoro village near Panaji.

Dressed in casual attire, Rampal and Demetriades arrived at the registrar's office around 4 pm.

They had obtained a special permission from the Assistant Public Prosecutor of the local court to condone the 15-day period required between the first and second signatures as per the local law, Vernekar said.

The marriage certificate would be handed over to the couple after 15 days, the official added.
