In 2025, Skoda launched the latest iteration of the flagship Octavia, which sold out in just 20 minutes.
The new 7-seat Kodiaq RS uses the same 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine as the Octavia RS. It produces 261 BHP and 400 Nm and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and all-wheel-drive system. The SUV also gets upgraded brakes and adaptive suspension.
Skoda claims that the SUV can sprint from 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and has a top speed of 231 km/h.
In India, the Kodiaq RS competes with the Toyota Fortuner and a slew of other SUVs like the Volkswagen Tiguan, Tayron R-Line, Jeep Meridian, MG Gloster and even the standard Kodiaq.
