Teacher uses LEGOs to teach math to schoolchildren

We all have amazing childhood memories associated with LEGOs  and we would still love to play with them if it was possible.

A teacher from New York, Alycia Zimmerman, has come up with a very creative manner to use these super toys to teach math.

She is a 3rd grade teacher and uses them to explain mathematical concepts like fractions, cube, square, etc.

“In the classroom, the tiny bricks are now my favorite possibility-packed math manipulative,” she writes in an article for Scholastic that goes more into depth about these bricks’ potential uses.
