Recipe of the day: Pumpkin Halwa

Ingredient:

•    2 cup Pumpkin (chopped into dices)

•    ¾ cup milkmaid/ condensed milk

•    1 tsp Cinnamon powder

•    2  tbsp Ghee

•    2 tbsp coconut (grated)

•    1 tbsp Almond (chopped)

•    1 tbsp Raisins (chopped)

•    1 tbsp cashew (chopped)

•    ¼ cup water

Instruction:

•    Take a non-stick pan, add pumpkin dices , water and cinnamon in it.

•    Cover the pan with a cover and cook the pumpkin until it becomes soft and tender on low flame.

•    One cooked, drain the water out of the pumpkin.

•    Keep pumpkin aside and let it cool down and then mash the pumpkin.

•    Take a non-stick kadhai and heat it for 1 minute.

•    Add ghee in the kadhai and let it heat for a while.

•    Add mashed pumpkins in it and keep stirring it till the pumpkin reduces in quantity.

•    Add milkmaid and grated coconut as per your requirement and mix it properly.

•    Cook for 10 minutes or till it changes it color.

•    Pumpkin Halwa is ready to be served.

Tip: Garnish it with almond, cashews, and raisins.
