Actress Kalyani arrested for gambling

Actress Kalyani, who is popular for her witty characters in Telugu films, is in the news for the wrong reasons. Popular as Karate Kalyani, the actress was caught while playing cards at LB Nagar, Hyderabad, on Sunday night.

On a tip-off, the Task Force had raided some clubs near JahangirNagar and arrested  few people who were gambling. Locals were shocked to hear that Kalyani was among those arrested.

The police seized nearly Rs 80,000 cash and a few mobiles. Vanasthalipuram SI Devender says, “A case has been registered on relevant sections of the Gambling Act and we are investigating further.”
