Ajay Devgn discusses script for his directorial venture 'Shivaay'
The title is derived from the 'Om Namah Shivay', which is also tattooed on Ajay's chest

Mumbai: Actor Ajay Devgan is all geared up to direct his new film ‘Shivay’, under his home production banner. Ajay will play the central role in the film which is going to be an out-and-out action according to reports. Ajay has been working on the script of the film with a team of writers and recently took to Twitter to share a picture where he was narrating the first draft script to his team.
The movie is said to be shot extensively in Canada. Ajay Devgn and his team went on a reccee in Calgary to scout for shooting locations. The actor shared pictures on his Twitter page and revealed it is one of the coldest regions on earth.

The actor set up his production company in 2000, and the first film to be made under the banner was ‘Raju Chacha’, followed by ‘U Me AurHum’, which also marked his directorial debut. Both times, Kajol was his leading lady. However, this time yesteryear actress Saira Banu's grandniece Sayesha, has been roped in to play the lead instead.
