Dilip Kumar to be discharged soon from the hospital

 A close family friend actress Farida Jalal says, “By God’s grace Dilip Saab is   out of danger and out of the ICU. He suffered from a bout of pneumonia which at his age is very dangerous. But he was under excellent medical supervision and is now under observation in the hospital outside the ICU.”

 

 Farida says the danger is over, though he still  needs to be watched carefully for the rasping cough and congestion.

 

Adds another family friend journalist Udaya Tara Nayar, “He is responding well to the treatment.He is cheerful.”

 

 With the news of Dilip Saab’s recovery comes the alarming intimation of the Thespian’s better-half the very beautiful Saira Banu’s failing health. 

Says a family friend, “Sairaji is not taking care of her health at all. She’s looking very pale these days. I told her there are so many doctors looking after Yusuf Saaf, why can’t she tell a few them to check her health out? But Sairaji says later. Pataa nahin woh later kab aayega. For 40 years Yusuf Saab’s well-being is all that has mattered to Sairaji. She has never cared about herself.”
