Emergency services hit as 400 doctors join stir

Services in Chest and TB hospital, Regional Eye Hospital and Victoria Hospital were affected

Visakhapatnam: Junior doctors continued their protest on the second day on Thursday. They kept themselves away from the services and staged a dharna at K.G.Hospital.

As a result the services in Chest and TB hospital, Regional Eye Hospital and Victoria Hospital were affected. They appealed to government to fulfil their demands.

Around 400 junior doctors took part in the protest. With emergency services affected, the patients faced hardships.

Meanwhile, the protesting doctors made it clear that they would continue the stir till their demands are met.
