There are some actors whose roles remain evergreen in the minds of the audience. One such role was by Sreenivasan in the film Azhakiya Ravanan, where he played Ambujakshan who dreams of making his novel into a movie. His characters ‘thayalkaran’ (tailor) and ‘Sumathi’ from the novel, will soon be brought to life by debutant director Santosh Vishwanathan and producer Listin Stephen after 18 long years. Ambujakshan’s unfulfilled dream of turning his novel into a film is titled  Chirakodinja Kinavukal. Sreenivasan will be playing the role of Ambujakshan while Kunchacko Boban will be playing the tailor, Rima Kallingal will be seen as Sumati, and Joy Mathew will be the woodcutter. Murali Gopi will also be playing a prominent part in the movie.  Santosh has been an associate with K.K. Rajeev and has done short films too. He says, “It has been a five-year-long dream to do a film project and I have been laying the groundwork for this film for the past four years. The treatment given to the film will be different and will be ligh-hearted!” The film will kickstart by November 17 and will be shot in Pondicherry, Kerala and Karnataka.
