London: An Australia-based car crash victim started speaking fluent Chinese after he woke up from coma.

The 22-year-old Ben McMahon said that he wasn't consciously speaking Mandarin as it just came out and was "most natural" to him, Metro.co.uk reported.

McMahon, who was never fluent in Mandarin despite learning it at school, reportedly triggered his new language skills when he saw an 'Asian looking' nurse at the hospital.
