We hear John Abraham completed shooting the climax of Welcome Back despite a back injury. The sequence required him to do some heavy-duty stunts, including jumping from bikes, helicopters and even camels.

Our source says, “The climax was shot in a desert. It is anyway difficult to perform stunts in a desert and in John’s case, he was already suffering from a back injury so it was doubly difficult for him. Since co-actors Naseeruddin Shah, Shiney Ahuja and Anil Kapoor were also part of the sequence and getting their dates together again would be difficult, John decided to go ahead and complete the shoot despite his condition. He pulled them off convincingly but was in severe pain by the end of it all and medical assistance had to be called for.”
