K Chandrasekhar Rao seeks partners to spice up Telangana flavour
Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao is planning to organise a mega Partnership Summit in Hyderabad to attract top national and international companies to invest in the new state.
Mr Rao is keen that the event be held in such a grand manner that it should overtake the other states’ events such as ‘Vibrant Gujarat’, ‘Advantage Karnataka’ and ‘Lead Bengal’.
The government will showcase world-class infrastructure facilities available in the city, power subsidy and a range of tax incentives, to lure investors.

The new Telangana state has been facing cut-throat competition from southern states, which include Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.
With Hero MotoCorp (formerly Hero Honda) recently announcing its plans to set up a manufacturing plant in South India, AP and Karnataka are vying to attract the plant. Mr Rao, meanwhile, has directed the Industries department to personally meet Hero MotoCorp chief Pawan Munjal and invite him to set up the plant in Medak.
