US Blocks Iran, Tehran Says All Exports Will Stop
The IRGC said the Hormuz Strait would stay closed until what it described as "the end of America's evils".

Dubai:The US reimposed a naval blockade on Iran’s coastal defence systems and missile sites and intensified its airstrike campaign on Wednesday in retaliation for Tehran's attacks on ships trying to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran's paramilitary Revolutionary Guard (IRGC) threatened on Wednesday to halt all energy exports from the West Asia over the blockade. “The export of oil and gas from the region will be either for everyone or for no one,” it said. The IRGC said it had struck US military targets in the region, including in Bahrain, Kuwait and Jordan.
Iran's Mehr news agency reported that US projectiles had hit a location on Iran's Hengam Island in the Strait of Hormuz.

The American strikes hit an Iranian army barracks. More than 35 people have been killed by US airstrikes in recent days, said Hossein Kermanpour, a spokesperson for the Iranian health ministry. At least 72 people are hospitalised, he added.
US President Donald Trump, meanwhile, threatened to widen strikes next week to hit power plants and bridges unless Tehran returns to the negotiating table.
“Next week it gets really bad for them,” he told Fox News. — Agencies
