UAE Secures Top Global Ranking In Telecom Infrastructure

Recently, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has globally secured the first position in Telecom Infrastructure. The achievement includes top rank in Telecommunications Infrastructure Index, the Institutional Framework for Digital Government, and the Digital Content Index, as per the report issued by ‘State of Digital Transformation Report.'
“Digital readiness and transformation are central to the UAE leadership’s vision, aiming to eliminate bureaucracy and enhance quality of life through technology,” says Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, Minister of State for Government Development and the Future in the UAE Government and Chair of the Committee.

One of the fundamental drivers of the telecom market’s growth is the rapid proliferation of smartphones in the UAE. Other crucial drivers of its development are the progressive policies of government and public- private partnerships.
The current UAE government under the Prime Minister, Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum made remarkable achievements across twelve sectors, including Economy, Finance, Human Resources, Security, Justice, Healthcare, Education, Social development, Culture, Youth development, Immigration, External affairs, Logistics, Environment and Infrastructure development.
