Go Back Home: Indian Students Threatened by Self-Styled Vigilantes in England

A video showing the group questioning the Indian students has gone viral on social media platforms. In the video, one of the men approaches the students and asks, “What made you come to England?”

Three Indian students out for a walk in a park in England were confronted by a self-styled vigilante group that questioned their presence in the country and ordered them to leave the public space, according to British news outlet Metro.

The group, which calls itself the Chelmsley Wood Patriots, was reportedly patrolling Meriden Park in Solihull, claiming that it was trying to protect women and children.

A video showing the group questioning the Indian students has gone viral on social media platforms. In the video, one of the men approaches the students and asks, “What made you come to England?”

One of the students responds that they usually live in Birmingham and had moved to the area that day. Another student explains that he came to England to pursue a master's degree and has been living there for two years.

The confrontation then escalates, with one of the men warning the students to stay away from the children's park.

“What you need to do is stay away from a children's park. Do not come here again. Do not be seen here again. This is your final warning,” the man says in the video.

He further threatens them, saying they will not receive another warning and ordering them to return home. The man also uses abusive language while telling the students to return to their home.

The video has sparked attention on social media, with the confrontation raising concerns over the treatment of the Indian students by the self-styled vigilante group.

The Chelmsley Wood Patriots defended their actions after confronting three Indian men in Meriden Park, claiming that the men had been loitering in the park at night and that one of them had filmed two teenage girls. The group said it had requested the video deletion. It rejected allegations of racism and the group maintained that its actions were aimed at protecting women and children in the community.
