Russia Shares Christmas Gift AI Video: Modi Gets Fighter Jet, Zelenskyy Gets Handcuffs
The 'gifts' hold specific geopolitical meanings in the context of Russia's ties with each country

The Russian Embassy in Kenya has shared an AI-generated video, showing Russian President Vladimir Putin as Santa Claus, sending out Christmas gifts to world leaders, including Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Chinese President Xi Jinping, US President Donald Trump, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, among others. Each 'gift' holds specific geopolitical meanings in the context of Russia's ties with each country.
PM Narendra Modi is seen receiving a replica of the Sukhoi Su-57 stealth fighter jet, signifying the defence ties India shares with Russia, while Trump receives a photograph of himself with Putin, framed in golden frames no less.
Some of the gifts are provocative as well, particularly the handcuffs to the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He is seen receiving a pair of handcuffs, and he is shown locked up in a cell.
China's Xi Jinping receives Chinese yuan and Russian ruble ornaments, which he happily places on a Christmas tree. Meanwhile, another Christmas tree ornament shaped as a US dollar falls to the ground and is broken into pieces.
For Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Putin presents a snow globe containing a replica of Turkey's first nuclear power plant, built with Russian help.
