Islamabad: Former Pakistan prime minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi on Thursday challenged his disqualification from Murree’s NA-57 constituency in Lahore High Court (LHC).
Mr Abbasi’s lawyer Khawaja Tariq Raheem filed a petition requesting the court to annul the verdict of appellate tribunal. The plea said the tribunal exceeded its authority and cannot disqualify anyone for life.
