The girl from Dera Ismail Khan has adopted the stance that she should be provided safety and protection as she has a threat from the influential people. She has requested the court to include the name of the person involved in making her video in the case as he has not been nominated in the FIR. Human rights activist Salma Malik said the matter was quite sensitive. “The incident occurred due to the decisions of panchayat (village court),” she said.
