Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Sharif on Wednesday appeared for the first time before the Joint Investigation Team (JIT) probing the Panamagate case.
Talking to reporters after appearing before the panel she said: “All the questions prepared by the team have been answered...I asked the JIT what is our crime? Why we are being summoned for incessant hearings? But the team was unable to answer.”
Meanwhile, Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan tweeted: “Inexplicable why private citizen Maryam getting official protocol with police saluting as she goes to appear before criminal investigation.”
