Have received several marriage proposals: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari

When asked by journalists about his marriage plan, Bilawal said it was a difficult choice.

Islamabad: Pakistan's leading opposition politician Bilwal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday disclosed that he has received several offers of marriage and said he would select life partner with the approval of his sisters.

Bilawal, who is in his mid-20s, is the only son of former two time premier Benazir Bhutto and former president Asif Ali Zardari. He has two sisters who are younger to him.

When asked by journalists about his marriage plan, Bilawal, who is also chief of Pakistan Peoples' Party (PPP), said it was a difficult choice.

"There are a lot of offers. But any woman who wants to marry me would have difficult task of convincing my both sisters. But the woman who is successful in doing this, then it is her and my destiny to be together," he said.

Meanwhile, astrologer Samia Khan told Geo TV that Bilawal should wait till 2019 to get married as his stars were not aligned. "The stars for Bilawal are very similar to Imran Khan when it comes to marriage," she added.

Samia Khan predicted Bilawal would get married more than once. "It will not be difficult for Bilawal to get married, rather making the marriage last will be the true test."

National Assembly Speaker and PML-N leader Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said it was good that the PPP chairman had decided to marry. Sadiq, however, said that a decision in this regard must be difficult to make as there are a lot of choices, the Express Tribune reported.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan leader Rauf Siddiqui advised Bilawal to marry a girl of his choice. "Bilawal should marry the one he loves or the one he likes, or else he is destined to face a lot of issues in life," he said.

Bilawal was advised by minister of the state for water and power Abid Sher Ali of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz that he should get marry to avoid scandals.

In a lighter tone, Ali also urged him not to follow the footsteps of Imran Khan.

Khan, chief of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf party, married for the second time at start of 2015. However, the marriage ended in divorce before the end of the year.

Around middle of this year, several TV channels reported that Khan has married for the third time but it proved wrong.
