Kuwait City: Kuwaiti police have arrested a father and a mother on suspicion of beating to death their three-year-old daughter and hiding her body in a freezer, the interior ministry said.
The ministry, quoted by official KUNA news agency late Sunday, said Salem Buhan, 26, and his wife, Amira Hussein, 23, were accused of beating and torturing the child, while under the influence of drugs.
The ministry, without giving dates, said the body had been kept in a freezer for a week before police uncovered the crime. The body was found with burn signs on the shoulder and legs, it said.
The father has three other young children, according to the report
