Deir Ezzor, Syria: A disturbing video footage has emerged online showing Islamic State militants packing up cameras of Syrian journalists with explosives and then blowing their captors with the devices.

Believed to have been shot in the Syrian city of Deir Ezzor, the journalists were handcuffed to the railings with a camera hanging around their neck. The device is then detonated by the militants.

In another instance, a media activist was blown up in a similar way by ISIS terrorists -- but this with a different device -- a camera.

Some of the other ways of executing their captors include slitting their throat with a sharp knife and choking the prisoners with an iron chain.

Justifying their act of terror, ISIS said that the murdered journalists were 'acting against the Islamic State' and were also communicating with outside parties as well as receiving funds. The terror group also levied a number of other charges on their captors.

In the video footage that appeared online, an ISIS militant can be seen speaking in Arabic, issuing a warning against reporting to the 'enemies of God.' He also warned the journalists inside Europe of reporting anything about the terror group.
