Dubai: Three minor boys were killed and a girl was severely injured when they fell into a deep water well while chasing a cat in the UAE, media reports said on Thursday.
The incident took place in one of the villas in Al Ain city, nearly 145 kms from Abu Dhabi on Wednesday when the Emirati children, aged three to four years, were playing.
The children reached over the wooden cover of the well while chasing the cat when the lid suddenly collapsed and they fell inside, Gulf News reported.
Police and Civil Defence officials reached the spot and recovered the bodies of the three boys. The girl was injured and rushed to a nearby hospital where she was battling for her life.
