Baghdad: A 15-year-old boy was executed by Islamic State militants in Iraq for listening to western music, according to a report in the DailyMail.
Ayham Hussein was listening to pop songs on a CD player in the Islamic State's Iraqi caliphate Mosul. He was arrested by ISIS militants and was produced before the Islamist Kangaroo court.
The court sentenced him to public execution. His body was handed over to his family members after the execution. Ayham's execution was the first of its kind for listening to music and sparked outrage among the citizens.
According to sources, the sharia court has not formally announced a ban on listening to music. Yet, ISIS has imposed various bans across its territories in Iraq and Syria, following which they sentence their prisoners to death....
