8-yr-old describes life under ISIS, says they train teens to be suicide bombers

He said that he was forced to attend a school run by ISIS militants in which the students were taught to become suicide bombers.

Damascus: In a horrifying revelation, an eight-year-old boy named Taim, who escaped from the clutches of the dreaded terror group Islamic State, has narrated his ordeal and the life of children under ISIS.

According to a report in The Washington Post, Taim said that he was barely six years old when ISIS militants stormed his city, Syrian city of al-Raqqa, and were captured by the terror group.

He said that he was forced to attend a school run by ISIS militants in which the students were taught to become suicide bombers.

"They would give us toys at the beginning," Taim said adding "but when the lessons began, they were very serious. They would mainly teach us about Islam."

Taim's testimony comes in the wake of recent reports which revealed that ISIS provided training to school children in al-Raqqah.

In another case, 13-year-old Ibn Omar, who escaped from ISIS said, "They teach him about the car, how it's rigged up, and you go near it to see that you push the button and it will explode".

"They tell them to blow themselves up among the unbelievers - the infidels." The guy who taught us religion taught this. He taught us, "When you get to that car and push the button you will go to Paradise," Omar added.

The increasing ISIS influence in Syrian schools has been confirmed by those people who have fled the country and escape ISIS. Their testimony reveals how the terror group taught children to make and use bombs in schools.

This is not the first time ISIS has used children for their activities. They have been portraying children as suicide bombers and terrorists in their propaganda videos since a long time.
