Video captures man setting hospital ward on fire after tiff with patient

London: An entire dialysis ward was gutted down and three people were killed in an Albanian Hospital on Tuesday after a 38-year-old man attempted to burn a patient who was undergoing the life-saving procedure.

CCTV footage of the incident shows a man, later identified as 57-year-old Cenaj Lefter, walking calmly towards a patient who is seen undergoing the dialysis procedure. On approaching the man, Lefter pulls out a bottle of fuel from his bag and pours it over the patient, who is identified as D Saraci.

According to reports, Lefter left the ward earlier in the morning after an argument with Saraci, but returned just before 11 am to carry out the attack. It is not clear what the relation between Saraci and Cenaj is, or what their argument was about.

Three people including Lefter lost their life in the fatal fire, after they were trapped in the inferno.

38-year-old Saraci who was also grievously injured in the fire, is still fighting for his life.
