7-yr-old Irish boy repeatedly raped by father, says he wanted to commit suicide

Dublin: A 7-year-old boy from Ireland, who had repeatedly suffered sexual abuse at the hands of his father, told a court that he wanted to kill himself.

According to a report in the Mirror, the victim said that he wanted to dispose himself from the world and commit suicide because of his 'Hitler' father.

While the case was under trial in the Central Criminal Court of Dublin, prosecutors told the judge about the abuse that took place over a period of two years, which they referred to as the 'catalogue of horrors'.

The accused has been charged with nine counts of anal rape and one count of child cruelty. However, he was acquitted of penetrating the victim with a poker. The father has also been accused of forcing the victim to have sex with his mother on one occasion.

In his statement to the police, the victim said that he began experiencing actual childhood when he was taken from his parents and put into foster care. The victim often described his father as 'hitler' and also said that he wanted his father to be run over by a combine harvester.

"Words have not even been invented yet for what my dad has done to me. I want to say au revoir to my memories. I would like my dad never to leave prison. I am happy when he is in prison," the victim was quoted as saying in his statement.

"Now that dad is locked up I would walk over to Ireland without a care in the world," he added.

The accused has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced at the next hearing on October 10.
