Watch: Scotsman drills his damaged toe nail with a power drill

Campbell and his friends decided to do a DIY surgery after he suffered too long from the pain.

Scotland: In a spine chilling video, a Scotsman, Campbell Whyte, 30, removes a part of his damaged toe nail with a power drill while his friends recorded the whole process.

According to a Daily Mail report, Campbell and his friends decided to do a DIY surgery after he suffered too long from the pain of a toe nail that he damaged while playing football.

With the help of his friend Lee Tarran, who decided to take the matter in his hands, they got hold of a power drill from a joiner friend in Highland, with which Campbell punched a hole in his toe nail.

The procedure, though dangerous, was a success and days later, the big toe nail dropped off too.

Callum Clark, who made the video of the whole process said, “We had tried a few different things to get it off but it was just not budging the last wee bit.

“We thought if we drilled a hole in it, we would be able to tie some string to it, tie the other end to a door and were hoping slamming the door would end up pulling the nail off.

“After the drilling the poor boy had had enough. I think the alcohol helped with it a fair bit though. Standard Sunday sesh.”

“He wasn't too bad afterwards though. He's all good, the nail is off now.”
