London: Former British Prime Minister David Cameron admitted to naming birds after Boris Johnson and Michael Gove before shooting them.

Mr Cameron, a keen game shooter, said he relished imagining the pheasants he shoots are named “Boris” or “Michael”, the Daily Mail reported.

While speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Mr Cameron was asked how he fills his days having left No 10. “I have used the extra time to take up shooting again. I find that when I shoot a few Borises and Michaels I feel a whole lot better,” the former Prime Minister replied.

According to the Independent, Mr Cameron is still bitter at the way the two “betrayed” him during the Brexit referendum. He believed both men would remain loyal to him but instead they supported the ‘Leave’ campaign.

Since leaving Downing Street, Mr Cameron has reportedly been shooting twice.
