Waterford County: An Irish man has been accused of threatening to throw his wife out of their home if she refused to have sex with their minor son, according to a report in The Irish Times.
The father forced his wife to perform sexual acts with their son on multiple occasions, the Central Criminal Court in Dublin has heard.
The incident took place at the victim's house in Ireland's Waterford County.
12-year-old son has claimed that his father forced him to engage in sex with his mother from the age of six, adding that his father has also raped him several times and has also physically abused him with a red hot poker. On one occasion, after watching a James Bond film, the father had also held a machine gun on the child's head, the court heard.
Explaining the torment that he had undergone, the child also accused his father of locking him up in a box at their home after watching a movie about a gorilla locked up in a cage.
Both the parents of the victim face a total of 82 charges of abuse between 2007 and 2011, according to the report.
The accused have pleaded not guilty to 16 counts of sexual abuse and one count of child cruelty. However, the mother confessed in court that she raped her son only 'because she did not want to go homeless.'
While giving his statement, the victim told the court that his father owned several weapons including a rocket launcher, an AK47, an Uzi sub-machine gun, “a sniper”, “a gun you can put a silencer on” and a Beretta, “like you would see in Dr No in James Bond”....
