Galicia, Spain: A Spanish woman survived a horrifying moment after she jumped off a third-floor apartment that caught fire, according to a report in the Daily Mail.
The 47-year-old woman, who jumped off the three-storey building, was only wearing an underwear when the mishap took place. The incident took place in Cedeira town in Spain's Galicia. Fire broke out in the electric panel of the apartment, which blocked the entrance of the house and the smoke nearly filled the entire room.
Left with no choice, the woman climbed out of the window, pleading for help.
The shocked neighbours had gathered below the building but were unable to get her out of the house.
In the video footage, the woman can be seen hanging from the balcony of the apartment. As she tries to balance herself, she loses grip and falls down.
While falling down, she can also be seen hitting a parapet, but was saved by her neighbours as they held blankets and bedsheets to protect her from hitting the ground.
The woman has been admitted to the hospital for chest injuries and her condition is reported to be stable.
