Russian jumps to death with 8-year-old son after husband's taunts on pig nose'
Omsk: A 33-year-old Russian sales representative was driven to kill herself along with her 8-year-old son, after she was distraught over her husband’s incessant taunts on her ‘pig nose’.
According to the Mirror, Anna Ozhigova had a noise job done after her physician convinced her that her nose didn’t suit her. But the medical correction proved to be the biggest pitfall in Anna’s life, triggering a separation from her husband and eventually leading her to suicide, taking her 8-year-old son with her.
The surgery made her nose oversized, she felt, turning her smile into a frown.
“I can't smile. My nostrils are now as big as if I was a pig, and moving apart. My husband is oinking when he sees me," she wrote in her suicide note.
She added that her husband maintained that she was stupid to do this, and that he ‘could not get used to me as we have known each other for 12 years.’
The trouble with her husband eventually lead to the couple’s separation, the report said and revealed that though she found a new boyfriend, she could not reconcile to the fact that her businessman husband could secure the custody of their child. She killed her life by jumping from her parent’s 9th floor apartment in Siberian city of Omsk, holding her son in her hands, killing them both.
In a message to her friend in Facebook, she also said that she feared that her son could be taken away from her. “That was the last straw,” Anna’s friend said, adding that she had tried to commit suicide previously as well.
“I wanted happiness, kindness, and peace for Gleb. But he's growing up in anger," Anna wrote in her suicide note.
