London: A letter addressed to the British Prime Minister Theresa May at her official 10 Downing Street address landed up five kilometres away in London’s 10 Daning Street.

Sam Bass stumbled upon the letter while sifting through letters in the communal hallway of his rented home at 10 Danbury Street in Islington, north London.

“I can understand why the postal worker got the address mixed up, because the handwriting is quite poor, but the recipient’s name (Ms Theresa May, PM) is unmistakable. As far as I’m aware, the Prime Minister has never lived here,” he said.
