Amid Labour party's leadership decision, trade union invites members to play Pokemon

The trade union is offering perks to participants -- giving away free donuts to first 12 people who enter the building and say 'hello'.

London: As Britain's Opposition Labour party leader Jeremy Corbyn faces a 'coup' from within his party for not campaigning strongly enough to prevent the country's exit from EU and having lost the support of some its members, the party now depends on the majority of the trade unions.

The trade union members are expected to come together and decide on having a representative at the national executive committee on Wednesday. However, the union seems to be in a playful mood, as it is inviting people to come and join in a new game that's trending across the globe - Pokemon Go.

Along with inviting people to join in, the Trade Union on their official Twitter account is offering perks -- by giving away free donuts to first 12 people who enter the building and say 'hello'.

The union is receiving mixed reactions to their new initiative. While some people have appreciated the efforts and taken it in a positive way, others have criticised it saying that the union has bigger problems to deal with.

Since its launch, Pokemon Go climbed its way to the top in less than six hours, becoming the top most searched and downloaded game in the US. It has reportedly made more than USD 14 million since its launch on July 5.
