Gabriel Attal Makes History as France's Youngest and First Openly Gay Prime Minister

Hyderabad: In a historic move, France's President Emmanuel Macron named Gabriel Attal as the country's newest Prime Minister, making him the youngest and first openly gay head of government. This decision came after Elisabeth Borne resigned from the post, serving less than two years in office and paving the way for an anticipated cabinet reshuffle.

Gabriel Attal, a 34-year-old education minister and a staunch ally of Macron, rose to prominence as the government spokesman during the Covid pandemic.
