Russian man kills wife for having sex with his best friend, castrates him

Moscow: A Russian man has been accused of murdering his wife for having sex with his best friend and later castrating the other with a knife. The incident took place in Shama village in the Republic of Tatarstan, where the accused worked as a vet.

According to a report in the Daily Mail, the accused identified as Vladimir Sidorov, pulled out a knife and stabbed his wife multiple times, leaving her dead. He then turned towards her lover and castrated him, inflicting serious injuries upon him, leading to his death.

Sidorov then called up the police to confess his crime and was detained shortly after.

He told police that he had been home all day looking after his children when his wife left the house to meet a female friend. He also told the officials that his best friend was supposed to drive his wife to her friend's house. However, his wife did not reach her friend's house.

Instead she accompanied her lover to his house where the two engaged in sex.

"Sidorov walked to the house of his friend who was supposed to have driven his wife - and there he found both of them in an intimate situation," said police.

On seeing his wife and her lover in a compromising position, the accused, in a fit of rage, took a knife and attacked the victims, said police. He then cut off his friend's genitals.

Both the victims died on the spot.
