Italian PM kicks a fish at G20 meet

The world leaders at the G20 summit were taking a relaxing boat ride on a lake in China when a fish leaped into one of the boats.

London: The Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi was left red-faced at the G20 summit when he kicked a fish in fear during a boat trip with other leaders, according to the Sun.

As the prime ministers and presidents scrambled over to avoid getting their evening clothes drenched, the Italian prime minister Matteo Renzi stepped forward, according to the Independent. It reported that Mr Renzi while trying to put the fish back in the water may have taken a tumble on the deck himself.

According to the Sun Mr Renzi kicked out at the fish, sending it hurtling along the boat’s deck away from him, before stumbling backwards. However, the Itlaian prime minister managed to stay on his feet.
