Europe Heatwave Claims More Lives; Three-Year-Old Dies in Car Near Paris
A three-year-old boy was found dead in a car in the Paris region, while Spain linked more than 200 deaths to the ongoing extreme heatwave.

The severe heatwave sweeping across Europe continued to take a deadly toll, with a three-year-old boy found dead inside a car in the Paris region on Thursday, marking the third child fatality linked to extreme temperatures in France this week.
According to a police source, the child's parents discovered him in a car parked outside their home in Saint-Gratien, a suburb of Paris. Civil defence authorities confirmed the death.
Meanwhile, in Spain, the ongoing heatwave has been linked to an estimated 212 deaths between Sunday and Wednesday, according to data from the MoMo mortality monitoring system. The system tracks daily death statistics and estimates excess mortality by comparing current figures with historical trends.
Large parts of Europe continue to experience unusually high temperatures, prompting health warnings and raising concerns about the growing impact of extreme weather events.
