Canada: Indian-Origin Man Held for Filming Women in Fitting Rooms
The police believe there could be more victims who have not yet come forward, so they released his photograph to the public as part of the ongoing investigation

An Indian-origin man named Dishanth Srideva( 26) from Mississauga, Canada, has been charged with voyeurism after allegedly recording women inside fitting rooms at a clothing store in Oakville. Police said the incidents happened at a Winners store located on Winston Churchill Boulevard.
According to investigators, the first complaint came in April 2026 when a woman noticed a man secretly using his mobile phone to film her while she was changing inside a fitting room. After starting the investigation, police linked the suspect to another similar incident that reportedly happened at the same store in November 2024.
Police officers later searched a house in Mississauga on May 16, 2026. During the search, they arrested Srideva and seized several items, including mobile phones and a laptop, which may contain evidence connected to the case.
Dishanth Srideva has now been charged with two counts of voyeurism. After his arrest, he was released with conditions and is expected to appear in court in Milton at a later date. Police also said they believe there could be more victims who have not yet come forward, so they released his photograph to the public as part of the ongoing investigation.
