N Korean soldiers suffer from diarrhea due to Kim Jong-un's 'special diet'
Pyongyang: In a bid to offer better quality food to his troops, North Korean supremo Kim Jong-un ordered a 'special diet' for them -- but ended up giving them diarrhea.
The Daily Star reported that Kim had made the decision to send the new supplies to the boarder guards on the dictatorship’s western frontier so that they don’t ‘envy Chinese person’.
Reports from earlier this year showed that the border guards had stormed into China in search of food as famine continued in North Korea.
A North Korean source told that the new food was reportedly mixed with iron powder and sand.
A source in North Hamgyong Province said, "Under the direction of Kim Jong Un, North Korea's people's armed forces increased the supply of materials to improve the diet of border guard soldiers. However, diarrhoea has spread among soldiers who consumed the new food supply and is causing an uproar.”
But Kim continues the war as North Korea showed missile launchers in a show of strength even though their people continue to starve.
As the winter season is approaching, North Korea is expected have heavy food shortage as nation’s east would witness a heavy flood.
