Hong Kong: If you thought nothing could drain your pockets as much as renting a property in Mumbai, then Hong Kong’s real estate will probably shock you and make you feel a lot better.

According to a report in the Mirror, agents in Hong Kong are selling 30 square foot 'toilet room' in a run down building for nearly 2000 Hong Kong dollars for a month, which amounts to almost 200 pounds.

While a 1BHK rented flat in Mumbai can cost up to INR 50,000 per month in some posh pockets like Bandra and Colaba, one can still manage to find a 150 sq.ft one-room-kitchen for 18,000. These figures from Hong Kong are absolutely crazy and even worse that London’s property market.

A video footage is doing the rounds on internet in which a small toilet area can be seen converted into a mini house with the toilet and the sink stashed into one section while the other area is kept empty, possibly for the tenant to sleep.
