Trump made a pass at John Travolta's wife in re-surfaced blog from 2009
Washington: Republican candidate for President, Donald Trump, ‘worked like hell’ pick up Hollywood actor John Travolta’s wife Kelly Preston, a re-surfaced blog post from 2009 written by the business magnate revealed.
According to a report in the Independent, Trump wrote the shocking piece of information in a tribute to the couple’s 16-year-old son Jett, who died of a seizure in 2009 during a family holiday.
Trump wrote the blog in the website of what is now defunct Trump University.
“A long time ago, before I was married, I met Kelly Preston at a club and worked like hell to try and pick her up. She was beautiful, personable, and definitely had allure,” he started, and went on to clarify that he was clueless of her marriage to the actor during the time.
“In any event… Kelly wouldn’t give me the time of day. She was very nice, very elegant, but I didn’t have a chance with her, and that was that. When I later found out she was married to John, I liked and respected her even more. Some people have values that matter to them, and she is one of them,” he wrote.
Expressing sadness over the demise of Jett, Trump also expressed condolences to the family over their ‘terrible loss’.
The re-surfaced blog comes in the wake of a slew of sexual misconduct allegations against the construction moghul, who has also found himself in the eye of storm for his controversial remarks on women in general. He has also faced back-lash from the media and the minority communities for his stand on migrants and Islam.
