Washington: A 45-year-old man from South Dakota is facing multiple charges of aggravated assault, and has been jailed after allegedly beating his pregnant ex-girlfriend and cutting off her nipples using scissors in a shocking revenge attack.
According to reports in the Mirror, the man, Tony Ledbetter, went over to his ex-girlfriend’s house in Sioux Falls area to have a talk with her, but lead way to a heated argument between the estranged couple.
Things soon spiralled out of control, prompting Ledbetter to punch his 35-year-old girlfriend on her face, and slamming her on the ground.
He also allegedly thrust his forearm against her neck, and tried to choke her with a blanket, before he fetched a pair of scissors and cut off his victim’s nipples.
“The really disturbing part is he went and grabbed some scissors and sat on top of her and used those scissors to cut off her nipples,” the officer investigating the case said, adding that Ledbetter called 911 himself.
The reports added that the baby was not harmed, but that the woman will require immense reconstructive surgery.
